John Key - 4th Great Grandfather (1776-)

Although I have not proven this yet, John Key's father was most likely involved in the Revolutionary War, which is very exciting! This means that your family can become DAR and SAR members!

John Key and his wife Belinda Milstead were both born in Virginia and were married in Amherst County of that state. They however removed to Walker, Alabama where they raised their family, one of which was Joseph G. Key, your 3rd Great Grandfather.

Pictured is what is left of John and Belinda's headstone in the Drummond Cemetery. They were buried with one of their grandsons, however his name is not transcribed.
